Captain Jon and first mate Tim were absolutely incredible. Both were extremely knowledgeable and very patient with our group as none of us had ever been deep sea fishing. I highly recommend Captain Jon and the Carley-A to anyone looking to book a charter this summer. I’ll be using them again for sure.

The boat and equipment were solid, very comfortable all day, even when it got rough and warm. The mate, “Ed”, worked his tail off trying everything to get us on fish, including aborting the trolling hunt for tuna+, to bottom fishing so we could at least do some reeling. recommend checking the fishing reports, and/or which boats are catching and which aren’t. We still had fun, but no joy as far as the catch we wanted.

Carly-A is a great boat with plenty of the right gear on board.  The captain and mate were extremely helpful with rigging lines and did everything they could to ensure that we were on the fish. Unfortunately we didn’t get much of a bite on our trip.  Hoping that next time the fish are feeding.

The boat is incredible and spotless.  The crew worked nonstop to put us in best situation to catch fish. They exceeded every expectation. Was very impressed 1st mate.  He worked his tail off. The crew were easy going down to earth people.  It was very hot today. They worked tirelessly.  The cabins ac was nice to escape the heat between catches. You can’t go wrong with this boat or crew.

It was a rough day for all the boats but we had a blast! Thank You!
