We were held up a little in the morning because of the DR Navy not letting any boats leave the Marina but that didn’t phase Capt. Nelson in the least.  This could have been a bad day but he had a great way of looking at things and started the clock for the full day from when we left the dock.  He brought us right out to a great spot and as soon as the lure passed into the strike zone we were hooked up with the biggest Dorado any one of us had ever seen.  That fight took nearly an hour and produced a great memory for my son’s friend on his first day out deep sea fishing.  The bull dorado was so big it’s tail was sticking out of the fish box.  Capt. Nelson said he never had one that didn’t fit it the box.  Because of High-Z’s experience, as soon as that fish was in the boat, we had 2 more on that had to be reeled in and then another soon thereafter.  One more on a long troll about an hour later and then we almost had a Marlin hooked up.  What a day!!!  Then, it only got better.  We headed back in and Capt. Nelson cooked up a few of the smaller ones for us and all the admirers of Johan’s massive catch. Not only did he do all that but finished cleaning the fish, gave some away at our request and then delivered the frozen giant dorado to us 2 days later for our trip home.  All around, the best Sportfishing experience that I’ve ever had.  I have my own fishing boat at home and really enjoy taking people out fishing but Capt. Nelson showed me how to do it right.  I only wish I had his expertise and experience.
