First off, the boat is impeccable, well equipped and clean.

Our trip included my wife and 3 grandchildren, aged 6, 8 and 10.  We went out in search of Spanish Mackerel and were on the fish within 30 minutes of leaving the dock.  We put 18 nice size mackerel on the boat.  Captain Chris worked with our 8 year old…Chris would hook a mackerel, then hand the rod to our 8 year old to reel it in.  Chris is great with kids.

Capt. Chris then took us to a cove where we caught a redfish and jack.  We then went to another spot where we caught a couple catfish, one of them good size and great fun for our 10 year old to bring in…not to keep, of course.

In sum, Capt. Chris is an exceptional captain and guide…he knows fishing and he knows how to relate to people…we had a great outing and will be seeing Capt. Chris again on our next visit to Sarasota…5 stars all around.
