Capt. Chip was our guide for the morning and it was a stunning day. Seas laid down a bit so we ran a few miles out to the reef. Caught a nice Jack and a Red Snapper. Put em back, so they’re still there for you. A few small grouper too.
Then headed along beach to troll for Mackerel. Had to reel them in fast because the dolphins kept stealing them once hooked.
I’ve been on several charters and can say Chip was the friendliest of the bunch. Was great with the kids and pleasant to provide guidance and local knowledge.
Will be back again for Tarpon soon. 👍😀☀️🎣🐟

We took our family (3 boys ages 10, 11,13) fishing for snapper and had a great time. Capt. Taylor was able to put us right on the fish and did an excellent job of making the most of our time on the water. His mate, Ian was patient with the kids and tangled lines! We had a great time and will definitely book with them again when we go out of Destin.

Had a great experience with this crew.  They are very helpful and do everything they can to make your trip enjoyable.  Would definitely recommend.

Took the kids & other family,  Captain Taylor and his first mate were attentive and thorough!  We went on a 6 hour trip and caught some decent fish.  Weather was great and we made some fantastic family memories!  Would definitely recommend Captain Taylor and his “Hound Dog” charter!!

Our first family fishing trip and we’re all inexperienced. This was a Father’s Day gift and one that my husband was very much looking forward to. We all were looking forward to it.

The morning almost didn’t happen due to rainy weather. I know most captains probably canceled their trips, and our captain Justin almost did as well. But he knew we were anxious and decided to give it a go anyway.

It rained probably the first 2 hours, but the kids were having such a good time, and Justin helped them cast out all throughout the trip. He was awesome for sticking it out with us and with a great attitude. His excitement when we caught that Permit was extremely contagious and set the tone. My daughter caught a couple lady fish. All the kiddos caught a fish that we later got to enjoy at Brotulas!

We’d definitely love to have the opportunity to take another trip out to with Destin. Great guy and super knowledgeable.
