I was quite apprehensive booking this trip as it was my first time on the island. Communication and support were excellent ensuring that I knew what to bring and where to go. We left an hour earlier at the captain’s request and landed 2 wahoo immediately so it was worth losing an hours sleep. We caught Wahoo and a variety of tuna. We then tried for Marlin, but weren’t so lucky.  Their enthusiasm for fishing is highly contagious and we had a great day out. I recommend the Fish Whisperer for anyone looking to go deep sea fishing in Mauritius with an experienced and friendly crew.

After a difficult beginning (we didn‘t find the starting Point in the darkness, it was raining, no fish at all),
it turned, Mike found a swarm of Red Tuna, we managed to catch three of them ( also we lost one while drilling) and lately we saw a whale.
Thanks to this wonderfull crew, the fast boat we enjoyed the trip very much!

Took my two boys aged 13 and 11. Caught two tuna at the first spot with the first cast, and when the action stopped, we got taken far further afield in search of fish, and Michael (captain) delivered. He knows the waters very well. We caught some big Mahi Mahi and the kids absolutely loved it (as did I). Very friendly crew. Great trip. Thanks a lot guys.

Went fishing with the extasea yesterday with poor results and only a couple of small fish.

However, the skipper tried very hard and is obviously both passionate and very knowledgeable about the sport.

Also worthentioning that we stayed out later than paid for ( find this elsewhere!) and overall I couldn’t have asked for more.

I Have booked a second trip next week…. What more can I say??
