Tim is an awesome captain and outstanding fisherman.  He effortlessly caught bait in the morning and within a few minutes, we were hauling in rugged fighting snook. We caught fish all day.  If we went to a spot that was slow, we didn’t stay long… moved to another spot that was productive. We boated at least 30 snook, a dozen nice redfish and a dozen massive hard fighting jacks.  Captain Tim is a tireless worker, fun guy and truly a southern gentleman!  I highly recommend a trip with Southern Gentlemen Backcountry Fishing!

Ive lived in Florida my entire life, spending most of my weekends and holidays on the boat either fishing, or just enjoying myself in the sun and water. Spending the day boating with Captain Tim was, undoubtedly, one of the most refreshing days I have spent on the water. He baited hooks, and did all the hard parts of fishing, and allowed me to feel the excitement of hooking a big fish! Anyone would have a wonderful time fishing with Captain Tim!

My persnickety friend was a bit apprehensive about taking a charter with a guide we did not know…it couldn’t have been a better trip. We snuck up on more snook than we could have imagined…and succeeded in getting more than our share in the boat. The boat, the equipment, the personality and the knowledge of Capt. Tim made this a great experience. We will not hesitate to do this again.
