Captain Camille was incredible from putting us on fish to providing a very enjoyable experience. Icing on the cake was during the ride back, he spotted something unusual. Said he may have seen a whale and we were going to check it out. Skeptical, my girlfriend joked it was probably a shark. Nope, he spotted humpback whales in the gulf. He got us safely close, and we went from fishing tour to whale tour. What an experience!!

After some research I have found out that the whales we saw were not Humpbacks but actually North Atlantic Right Whales - a critically endangered species with only 400 estimated individuals remaining. That makes this sighting even more amazing.
