When you booked the trip, kings were open to catch and kill. Due to poor run strength ADFG decided to close kings on july 17, 3 days prior to your trip. fortunately we offer sockeye fishing on every trip during these times which provides more action and a limit of 3 per person. while fishing we constantly strive to provide our customers with a great experience. We do the best we can with the cards we are dealt. Every year is different with run strength and size. If you ever come back keep in mind the possible closures and commercial fishing days.
