We had an awesome day on the water with captain Richie, the Shark Whisperer. It was a pretty slow day, but we had a lot of fun. Captain Richie helped us get a couple of Mackerel for bait, after which we hit one of his Shark spots. We first got a smaller Blacktip, which we decided to keep for dinner. We changed to another spot where Capt Richie found us another one, and it was the biggest Shark anyone in our group had fished. It put up a great fight, and we caught and released it. The captain is a great guy, and he really gave it his best to out us on fish on what was a slow day. Thanks capt Richie!

Captain Richard is fantastic. Our group had a blast with him on the afternoon tour. We arrived early and he got us underway quickly. Caught both mackerel and 2 sharks. We were going to do catch and release due to travel, but he mentioned there was an off the hook restaurant nearby that would prepare them for us. Absolutely amazing recommendation. Got to enjoy our fresh fish moments after getting back to shore!

Captain Richard is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. His focus on sharks is an absolute blast! Would definitely go out with him again when possible!

Great experience from beginning to end. It was just me and my 10 year old daughter. It was a short ride out to the fishing grounds. Fished a few different spots and caught several Pompano, Sheepshead and Redfish.  Highlight was we got a large 5.5ft blacktip shark on the line with 10 mins left on the charter. Captain Ritchie coached me through get it to the boat. Great day on the water with great conversation and great meat on the table! Will book again when we are in Orange Beach and would absolutely recommend him!

Captain Richie created memories for life when he took us out. The ‘shark whisperer’ delivered by helping me catching my first shark. He’s a stand up guy & halfway through the charter I completely forgot I was on one, felt more like fishing with family. 110% recommend & I’ll definitely be back. I’ve been on many charters in the past & he is definitely at the top.

We took our brother in law out for his 40th birthday, and he wanted to go for something really cool. After getting enough mackerel for some great meals back at our house, Captain Ritchie began working his shark whisperer magic. We ended up catching a nurse shark and several incredible hammerhead sharks, which was one of the coolest experiences any of us have ever had. Thankfully I brought along an underwater camera to see what these magnificent creatures look like underwater.
Not only is Captain Ritchie an absolute pro with a spotless boat, but he’s also hilarious and fun to hang out with. We cannot wait to go back to Gulf Shores and fish with him again, I cannot recommend him enough! He will do everything he can to give you the best experience possible, no matter what’s biting that day. Again, you can’t go wrong with Captain Ritchie!
