We had an excellent evening trip with Captain Eric May 24th. It was a bit windy but Capt. Eric knew where to go to find a suitable fishing area and as we rounded the last corner we knew we were in for a great time. Started out catching speckled trout with a few ladyfish thrown in for fun. Capt. Eric kept us moving to find the fish and he certainly did. A good trout bite, ladyfish, a flounder, and finally a 30 lbs. bull redfish. The redfish on light tackle was a real thrill and after a twenty minute fight he came to the net for some great pictures and a return to the water to fight again. Captain Eric is very professional and was more than happy to help when we needed a little guidance with our technique.  Boat and fishing equipment were top notch. We would highly recommend Captain Eric and Hurricane Charters to anyone looking for a great trip!

This charter was amazing, captain put us on the fish. Taught us how to do everything, from casting to fish behavior. Captains patience for newer fisherman was wonderful. We fished hard to make sure each one of us caught the fish we looked for. Had good conversation. Felt more like fishing with a friend rather than with a guide. Would really recommend if you want a very good introduction to Florida saltwater fishing.

Mike was so knowledgeable on our fishing trip.
He kept you so interested in the trip.
You were in good hands with him.
It was windy and he made sure you were safe and try keep much of the water off of me and change places so I wouldn’t get as wet.
It started off a little slow so we changed area and boy does he know what he is talking about.
He kept in the loop to what you needed to do to catch some fish.
If you choose him I don’t think you will be Disp ointment.

This was a very good fishing trip, Eric is very professional and really knows what bait to cast. We did not use any live bait and caught over 50 fish. I would highly recommend fishing with Eric and we plan on fishing with him again when we come back to Panama City. Eric is very safety minded and takes excellent care of his crew.

Fishing with Eric is one of those experiences that you will always remember and you can’t wait to get back on the water to fish. Eric is a class act on how to run a guide service.

Great boat, great organization, and your knowledge of fish species, special comments you made about water currents, tides and specific characteristics of fishing related to them was something I had not received from other Captains on previous outing.
