Excellent trip. Mauricio was great guide! Caught Snook and Jack’s..
My son and I went out fishing early on a cool February morning with Noel. He thoughtfully supplied us with wind breakers to wear over our light jackets. He definitely knew his way around the lagoon and ran us to 4-5 stops over 4 hours. After 30 minutes of no bites using artificial bait, Noel used a throw-net to catch some bait fish and our luck improved. Catching a variety of different species on light tackle was an enjoyable. The 20 lb crevalle Jack was especially fun to bring in on light tackle. The snook, and even the small barracudas were fun too. We had a great morning and it was a pleasure fishing with Noel.

Our experience with this charter was very good. Communication was great. The guide, Noel, worked hard to give us the best opportunity to hook up on fish. Switching techniques, moving from spot to spot, and catching some live bait to fish with. We did manage to catch a handful of small barracuda, which we enjoyed very much! However, Mother Nature, and the fish didn’t want to cooperate with us. All things considered, we would highly recommend them for inshore fishing. We totally understand, sometimes you go catching, and sometimes you go fishing. This trip happened to be a fishing expedition! Thanks for the opportunity, and the great time, John&Aaron!

Martin (owner) was super easy to work with and wants to make sure everyone has a great experience - guides, boats and gear were all perfectly suited to conditions. What needs to be made super clear is that my guide Jose worked tirelessly all day to put us in spots where we could catch fish. Neptune was not looking favorably on us however, there was a consistent 15 mph wind ripping the surface all day which effectively killed the bite, but that didn’t stop us from trying; new baits, new locations, new tactics. Let me be clear the company and scenery made it all worth it even if our finned friends were being fickle. Also Martin’s wife makes a fantastic ham and cheese sandwich, kudos to her too.

Had a fun time fishing the with Mao my guide. I booked an 8hr trip because you don’t just come down and fish for only a few hours in the ocean. The majority of the fish I caught were barracuda as the other fish seemed harder to catch due to cooler water temps. I did lose a big tarpon and a big snook and several other smaller snooks. The barracuda’s were very ferocious in fraying my line and chomping my baits in half with their sharp teeth. I ended up catching 3 of my 4 bucket list fish. My favorite of the day was the juvenile tarpon I caught skipping my bait under the mangroves and taking him out. Being an avid tournament fisherman back home in Washington, my skipping skills came in handy on this trip. All in all a fun trip and I’m definitely booking another trip in the future with them as my hook up ratio was not the best.

My wife and I had a great time fishing today with Captain Mau. He worked extremely hard to put us on the fish. We had a multiple shot early at Tarpon, catching one on a plastic with spinning gear. Unfortunately it came off after its first boost out of the water. Oh well, still stoked to have actually caught my first Tarpon even if I didn’t land it. Then we moved spots and Captain Mau threw the cast net for live Sardines. We loaded the live well and then went to more of his secret spots. We each ended up catching a pulls nice Snapper, and probably 50 barracuda!! They were definitely hammering out live bait! All in all, it was a great trip fishing for new species in new territory. I highly recommend this charter!
