Weather was rough when we were originally scheduled…Magnum was willing to give it a try but gave us the option to try it, cancel for a full refund, or reschedule…we rescheduled and had an awesome time!  He put us right on the fish!!  Made it fun for our 10 year old first timer and answered ALL of his many questions!!!

We had booked a Monday fishing trip but due to the cold windy weather the captain found a different day that would work for our stay.it worked well for both of us. Magnum, our captain, worked hard to find fish for us to catch even though it was in February.’

Captain Magnum quickly assessed our level of fishing skill and comfort onboard the boat and tailored our day to fit!! A tough day finding the right fish to keep but caught plenty to keep us busy for catch and release! We are anxious to return to the Gulf with Southern Country Charters again!

We had a great fishing trip! Caught 9 different species of fish. Kept 5 fish, released the other! The kids had a great time and the captain worked hard getting everyone baited up, unhooking fish, and making sure the kids had a great time. If our trip was longer we would have booked another charter trip

The trip was a blast, and the captain was so knowledgeable and helpful. He was awesome!! Our grandson, Drew, caught about a 4’ red snapper. It got away, but he got to see it and was thrilled!! Thanks so much for the great trip. They will be back the next time we are lucky enough to be in this magical city.
