My wife and I spent six hours on a trip with Mauricio .. It was fabulous we both caught fish ...Snapper , Barracuda , and Snook . Very experienced captain and fisherman who took care of us all day . He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day. 
Martin made sure we were looked after with food and drinks and even arranged transport back to our hotel. We cannot recommend them highly enough

Usually when you go fishing you’re not catching.  This was the opposite we went catching! We had an awesome day fishing our guide was awesome!!! He was extremely experienced attentive and fun.  If you are looking to catch fish take a definite look at this company.  We have booked many times from this site and these guys are in the top.  Also if you want to fish and don’t want to get sea sick definitely go with these guys.  The waves on a deep sea trip are brutal here in Cancun so fishing in the bay side could be your best option.

My wife and I fished with Mauricio on Saturday, July 22nd. This was my second year in a row fishing with these guys. I initially wanted to cast lures but after about the first 30 minutes without any action, our guide suggested using live bait. He used a cast net to quickly get bait. We basically cast the baitfish towards rising tarpon. We caught several lady fish, then two tarpon. For the last hour, we moved locations and used the same technique to catch two nice snook. Great trip, excellent guides, nice equipment. I totally recommend this trip.

If you’re like me and are unsure if you should book a trip with a hotel or with these guys I did both and 100% skip the hotel. No add on sales, great communication, and a guide who loves to fish as much as I do what more could you ask for. Also loved the fact that I was the one casting and setting the hook 10/10 would go again I had a blast

Made a last minute booking and was accommodated very well, and I was very glad I booked with Cancun Light Tackle & Fly Fishing Tours. Firstly, let me say that the economical value of this trip is great, and as a very frugal angler this was to my satisfaction. The per hour rate rivals that of lesser quality fishing experiences, yet you are paired with a guide that knows the lagoon like the back of their hand. My guide Noel (no L’s with Noel) knew exactly what to look for, and there aren’t many experienced inshore sportfishermen in Cancun (most are either not catch and release and/or offshore). This is much better value than going for barracudas out in the bay, as thats all you can book in the under $500 range of “offshore fishing”. I got to target bonefish (a fish people pay thousands for) flats sightfishing, casting into feeding snook and tarpon, and more. Unfortunately the one fish I lost this trip was a 10-20 pound class snook that jumped and threw the hook at the end of the trip, but I would definitely book again the next time I’m in Cancun for another shot at the big one.
