We had a very fun trip, catching a range of fish that we have never seen before (being from Iowa)! My son caught a puffer fish that was so fun to see, as well as a hammer head shark!! This was not the only catches of the day, we sat in three different spots and was continously catching something during our 4hr trip.  I, (who am not good at fishing) had a great time with Captain Roy and his hilarious commentary 🤣 Both my teenage kids enjoyed catching the variety of fish and my husband who just had shoulder surgery 2weeks ago was even reeling in a couple sharks!

My husband, grandson and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Captain Roy Johnson. He was patient with our 7 year old grandson. He kept our fishing lines baited and ready to go. We caught gobs of fish! He kept us entertained with funny stories and observations. Captain Roy caught my special visor before it blew away forever. And he shared his special Prime drink with our grandson! Highly recommend!

We booked an afternoon half day trip with Captain Roy on the tail end of our vacation, and it was the highlight of the trip. Captain Roy let us explore and learn for ourselves for the first half hour of the trip before teaching us a ton abut the local fish and lifestyle here. It was amazing to spend that much time with someone who is so knowledgeable about the sea life but the entire area in general as well. The sunset was absolutely beautiful and we had a great time riding around to different areas and catching a variety of fish! He accommodated all of our different knowledge and comfort levels when it came to fishing, and challenged us to push our limits. Highly recommend a trip with Captain Roy

We booked the half day trip with Captain Roy for our family of four.  Our meet up location was changed but was communicated to us a couple hours prior to heading out.  Captain Roy was extremely knowledgeable of the area and where the best spots were to catch fish.  He was very helpful with my sons helping them bait their hooks when needed.  He had a great personality and kept us laughing during the trip.  Overall it was a wonderful afternoon of fishing and between the four of us, we caught 14 fish of several varieties.  We would certainly book with Captain Roy again if we were in the area.

Booked the trip for me, my parent, and my fiance for father’s day. It was a blast. Roy took us to a few spots to catch, we weren’t able to keep anything due to the time of the year but we still had so much fun. He was knowledgeable and helpful, and he absolutely gives you the same energy you bring. We all were laughing, cutting up, making fun of each other, etc. Will most definitely be booking again.
