TLDR; 10/10 would do it again in a heart beat.

We all had an amazing time and our two teen boys were able to both catch their first salmon, which was huge compared to anything they had caught before. Captain Jamie was very patient with them and encouraged everyone the entire trip. He is a true gentlemen and very knowledgeable about the river and how to catch even salmon during their pickier days. While cleaning the fish, after the trip, you could tell everyone at the dock loved Captain Jamie. They all had nice things to say to him about him. The boat ride around the river was beautiful and very relaxing. My wife and I enjoyed the tour as much as we did fishing. We saw seals, bald eagles, and several species of other birds including some catching smaller feeder fish. Hey, there were even some cows on the beach at one part of the river. Jamie’s boat is extremely well built and very comfortable. I was able to stay in the covered area to reduce the wind and stay warm in the early hours of the morning. All the equipment worked great and Captain Jamie was very thorough in explaining how it worked and helping us all feel comfortable using the equipment. He knows the river well and you can’t go wrong hiring him, IMHO.
