We had an amazing time even though it was rough waves. We caught so many fish and limited out on Red Snapper. I added many new species of fish to my list that day! We caught Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Bonitas, a Porgy, an Amber Jack, a HUGE sea turtle that we safely realeased back and a HUGE nurse shark! Captain Wes and Don know what they are doing! All you gotta do is listen and you will catch some fish! We tried hard to get me on a Mahi, maybe next trip I will get one. The boys bottomed fished while I (the girl on the boat lol) fished top water, and I tore up the Bonitas! Overall it was a GREAT day and we all enjoyed ourselves!

The trip was excellent , we originally had it planned and scheduled for Monday Aug 3 but the captain asked us to reschedule due to wind , excellent decision . The water was perfect on our trip , I have seen lake water rougher than what we encountered on our trip. The only down fall to our trip was that we went to late and missed red snapper season, but I will say we caught a lot of snapper and even though we had to throw them back the catching part was a blast for the kids . We caught a lot of fish and had a blast , watching the mangros swim in 25-30 plus feet of water was an amazing sight to see as well and caught some pretty good size mangros to take home with us , would definitely return for another trip out with Fish King charters ,

One of the best trips I’ve been on.  We were to leave the dock at 0730 and we did.  Capt Wes and everyone associated with the crew and management t were friendly and helpful even down to the temperature measure for adherence to the Corona virus rules.  All the equipment was top drawer.  We were out 30 or 40 miles and arrived there quickly with no problems.  There were six of us on the boat and all of us contributed to a boat limit of Red Snapper.  All in all it was a super day on a super boat with a super crew.  We had no problems and we’ll be fishing with Capt Wes again soon.

Great time was had by all!!  Captain Wes and first mate Don went above and beyond to make our day successful!  We caught a lot of fish but by no fault of theirs the season for red snapper didn’t come in for two days unbeknownst to us at the time of booking.  We still had a great time!  Hope to fish with them again!

Firstly, the boat is awesome it includes a commode ( great for us female anglers!), plenty of room to fish in comfortably, and is a great ride. Captain Wes has many different waypoints for all different fishing. We went to several different areas caught fish at each one. Capt Wes would say how deep they were, how far off the bottom they were, and suggest a bait for catching them. It was an awesome trip and is for beginner or experienced anglers. His 1st mate is awesome, works constantly to keep you rigged and ready. Great for turtle and porpoise watching as well!! Worth every penny! I can’t wait until snapper and grouper season is on!!!
