This is far and away the best charter I’ve been on! Captain Sig knows his business like no one else out there and made sure everyone was on game start to finish. He knows the waters and techniques inside out and makes sure everything’s going just as it should. The mates Ray and John were fantastic, worked hard all day non-stop, and really great guys to chat with. Hot Shot is an awesome boat and they keep it in great condition, very clean, way better than other charters I’ve taken. Overall, it’s really obvious how much pride they take in their work. Got on great with everyone and next time I can be back in the area, hopefully late summer/early fall, no question Captain Sig’s the first guy I’m going to call. Can’t say enough good things about this charter - just a really great day all round and can’t wait to be back for the next one.

I have done many charters in South Fla and this one was very different.  Everything started off normally.  Trolling, setup, reeling in catches, all the same.  But the boat broke and we needed to be towed in which added a few hours to our trip.  Captain Sig and Ray made the best of it for us.  We ended up drifting in a school of fish and kept fishing.  Then the captain dropped a rope and we jumped in and went swimming for a bit.  We had plenty of beverages and snacks on hand so noone was hungry or dehydrated. NOTE: Captain supplied drinks, we brought snacks.  All in all, our 4 hours trip turned into 7 hours and I can’t say anything bad about the trip.  Although the breakdown of the boat got the Captain a little sad, my kids LOVED that downtime and swimming out the bluest of waters.  It was a great experience for them.  It takes a good Captain and a Great First Mate to make a trip good and these 2 did not disappoint.

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this trip.  Captain Sig advised us to change our schedule because of weather patterns and I am so glad that we did.  He and his crew are top notch and helped me, my wife, and my daughter have a truly memorable day.  In addition, he fileted our catch for us and directed us to a restaurant that cooked it for our lunch.  I have been on fishing trips before and none were as good as this one.  I would do it again when we return to Miami and would recommend this to everyone.

Captain Sig and his son were the best crew we could have asked for! They made our experience fun, educational, and exciting. Captain Sig went out of his way to pick the best place and time to catch some fish and it was a great success. I will be booking with him on my next fishing adventure. I 10/10 recommend booking with Hot Shot Charters!

We told him that we wanted to fish for Mahi-mahi, and they delivered.
First day we caught 4, second day we caught 18, a barracuda, a kingfish, and a tuna!  What a great day of fishing!
Always remember, it’s called fishing not catching.
If there is a way to catch them, Sig knows how to do it.
