3 of us went out on a Kenai sockeye trip; 2 adults and a 13 year old . guide got us to a fishing spot on the river that we stayed all day, caught one sockey right away and lost another one shortly after. Stayed in the same spot the entire day without trying any different areas after not producing any fish after 4 hours of continued fishing; the 13 year old in the group caught a nice rainbow trout after hour 5 in the same spot but could only get a tangled net pic of the trout he was so proud to finally catch since the guide wouldn’t allow a good pic of the fish before releasing it.
