Great time yesterday with Capt Shad on our Near Shore fishing trip. We didn’t have many bites on our lines with the rough seas and low sea temps but had a great experience for our first time out. Capt is knowledgeable and did his best to find us some fish. We caught about 5-7 small sized Spanish mackerel. Will try again when weather warms up and hopefully with calmer seas. This trip was for our dad who just turned 80 in February, was on his bucket list and he was so happy for his 3 boys... Más

This was one of the best charters I’ve done! We took my dad (84 years old) me and my wife fishing the intercoastal waterway and the tidal creeks surrounding Sunset Island. We all have some experience fishing but none of us consider ourselves regular fishermen. Captain Shad was patient as we got used to fishing with his gear and never got upset when he had to wrangle casts out of the marsh grass. He helped us understand the best times and places to fish different spots around the island... Más
