I booked a halfday fishing trip in the afternoon, as a birthday surprise experience gift for my boyfriend who turned 41 that day. It was for us the first time fishing and we found this experience amazing. The two boat crew members (Ramon and Egly) were very professional, kind, caring and thoughtful. My boyfriend even got a little birthday gift. There was enough drinks and delicious snacks on board. We couldn’t have a more wonderful birthday Celebration. We brought some family and friends along, and were a group of 5. Each and everyone of us enjoyed the trip. We catched some fish, which were very big in our opinion, although we understood that there are much bigger ones. We didn’t know that fishing can be so much fun and we got to experience the beauty of the Curaçao sea. As “young adults” born in Curaçao but living for almost 20 years abroad, a new world opened up for us! So we would recommend this trip not only to tourists but also to locals. There is so much to learn and a lot to experience on the beautiful seas of Curaçao. Book and learn more about the wonderful fishes in the sea of our Dushi Korsou! The fishes that we catched were cleaned and packed for us to take home. And they were delicious! We will definitely be back in the future for another fishing trip and we are now ready to go after the bigger ones! Thanks to Ramon and Egly for this wonderful experience! This was for my boyfriend for sure a birthday experience gift to take down memory lane. I guess you can see that from the big smile on his face with an even bigger fish in his hand 😁

Although my taxi driver got confused on where I was going and got there a few minutes late, the crew was waiting and just said “Let’s go catch some fish”. I didn’t know this until afterwards that the day before they fished the coast, and it was slow. So, for my trip we went out to the buoy. When we got to the buoy, within ten minutes we had fish on two rods. I lost a good one, which was my fault. We reset and the fish were hitting. I ended up getting three tuna. I had a great time and cannot thank everyone enough for making this an incredible trip.

Chartered Party Hooker for a half day charter with my wife and another couple.  Went with a half day morning trip to catch the early bite.  Both Derek and Ramon worked hard to find and bring the fish up. We bought a wahoo to the boat and had a few hits, most probably from barracuda.  The lack of fish was certainly not to lack of trying from the crew. Always looking for signs of fish, changing baits and lures was their job, but the information about Curacao, fishing the local waters and island life alone was worth the trip.  Thanks to both Derek and Ramon for a great day!
