Crew, boat and equipment were good. Fishing was slow.

Took our 3 teenagers on their first chartered fishing trip this week while we were visiting Bayfield. The girls weren’t too enthusiastic at first, but once they got a turn to pull in some big lake trout, they were all for it. My son is an avid fisherman already, but he too enjoyed the experience. It was by far the highlight of our trip.
It wasn’t the best day for our captain and crew because of boat motor troubles, but they got us to were we needed to go and got us on the fish. They were very knowledgeable about the area that we were fishing and answered all of our questions.
If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely book another trip with them. I highly recommend.

My group of 3 seniors, close friends, had a wonderful time with Cap’n Sean and Asst Al.  We did spend the entire 8 hours with them, and although not a “hot” bite, we caught our limits of Lake Trout.  We had very good discussions about fishing, the environment, birds and animal life (especially biologist Al), and they were very honest and forthcoming as to their work, fishing, and personal lives.  They were the first boat we have ever been on where we were required to wear a floatation device!  The boat was kept very neat and clean, with no garbage or loose equipment to trip on.
I plan to use them again in the future.

This was a half day fishing trip with my son and son in-laws. We were “testing the waters” for future trips with friends, family and business associates.  We all had a great time, the boat ride was fun, fishing was excellent, Captain Sean knows the hot spots. Allen our Deck Hand was excellent, he knows his roll but was also very informative and interactive with the guests. I talked to my boys and are planning to make this an annual trip for us. In addition discussing taking more trips with other family, friends and business associates. Great wat to enjoy Northern Wisconsin.
