Thanks for coming out. Hope to see you guys again next year!
We booked the shark special and Eric being the pro he is, suggested we keep an open mind to switch tactics in case the sharks were not around due to recent weather. Well we got a nice shark and then continued the rest of the trip to go get some nice halibut (and a few scorpion fish too which was cool and unique for a couple midwestern guys). All in all we had a blast and would (will) book with these guys again. They know the conditions and what/where to get fish. Be flexible and they will put you in position to catch some beautiful fish and give you a great memory to hold on to.

Thank you guys for coming out and trusting the process. We look forward to another trip with you later this summer when the tuna and exotics are around.
We booked the full day to the Catalina island where we immediately located a school of hungry SeaBass. We were pulling them up within minutes (seconds even). The water is so blue you can see the schools below the boat. We hooked up a few barracuda and then the wife hooked onto the Yellowtail….right before the sea-lions got ahold it it. Damn dogs kept snatching our catches or bait. We did manage to land one beautiful yellowtail as seen in the pics. We can’t recommend Capt. Eric and Jason for their help, great convos and time spent on the water while visiting. I would def book again if I’m on the west coast again.

Thank you guys for the kind words! Customers like you remind me why we work so hard doing this job! Look forward to getting you guys back out again!
When I set out to go fishing, I had one ultimate goal in mind, I wanted to catch a bluefin tuna. I spent over a week doing research, and emailing different captains, that way I would give myself the best chance to catch that exact fish. Eric (captain) was very up front about the cost, and the chances of success, and I respected his honesty. Some of the other captains guaranteed a catch, and cost up to $5,000+, and Eric’s boat was much less, and he was much more realistic about the odds. The day I met with him I found out that he brought along a friend of his, who is another professional fisherman that only fishes for bluefin tuna. During the trip they let me know that no one had caught any bluefin for the previous 2 to 3 days, and we kept hearing other boats over the microphone saying that another fish got off the hook. In spite of that, we ended up hooking 3 bluefin, and landed 1 of them. They delivered big time! The fish was bigger than me, and weighed probably closer to 200 lbs. So for anyone else out there that wants to catch a bluefin, or even something else you have in mind, I would highly recommend reaching out to Eric. I’m sure with his lifetime of fishing, and wealth of knowledge, that you will be giving yourself the best possible chance to get what you set out for!

Thanks for choosing us Tom! Had a great time and hope we made memories you will never forget! Big check mark for bluefin off your bucket list.
We had a fantastic afternoon on the water. Captain Eric and the first-mate, Jayson, were absolutely fantastic, very professional and accommodating. We were totally new to fishing, so we didn’t know what to expect, what to do, but they made it easy, educative, and fun for us.We really had a good time. For us, it was not about catching fish, but rather going fishing. Although we did catch fish, the real outcome was this unforgettable afternoon of father and son going fishing in the Pacific Ocean. Thank you Ez Sportfishing!

Thank you guys! Hopefully we see you guys again soon!
Had a great time on the boat with Captain Eric and Jason. They took us to fishing grounds and despite wind and pesky sea lions we were able to manage a good day of calico and bonito surface action fishing. Wishing for yellowtail but wasn’t in the cards. My friends and I agree that we would definitely fish again with Eric he definitely knows his stuff and was great with both inexperienced and seasoned anglers alike. Highly recommend!
Eddie you guys were great to have on the boat! It would be a pleasure to have you guys back anytime! Fished thru the hard times and had some good bites when the sealions let your baits thru. We did manage to catch the yellowtail that broke you off the next day with your hook still in his lip! 1 in a million chance of that! But what are the odds of anyone else fishing the same hook in the same spot and with the knot I taught you?
