Good trip, experienced crew, fish bite was slow but CAPT tried hard to put us on the fish we had a good time . Would book again

This trip was my son’s 15th birthday gift and we all had such an amazing time! Caught some fish and enjoyed the day! Captain Saul was so great ,very knowledgeable and did his best to make sure that we specifically my son enjoyed the trip and caught few fish! Highly recommend Galveston fishing charter co#2 !

We booked and paid for a trip on a 33 Ft. Boat and ended up on a 25 foot Boat somehow, The main reason we booked our trip with this company was the size of the boat as we were taking 6 grown men.  We fished for 7 hours and did finally catch a Red fish with 3 or 4 minutes left in the day but other than that no bites,  I realize there are a lot of factors that go into a successful day on the water and the weather did affect our trip negatively but I also believe this time of year the fishing is very slow in the area and had we known that upfront we would have went further south down the coast in Texas or booked at another time of year.  Our captain was a nice guy and tried to put us on the fish i just think the deck was stacked against us from the beginning.
