Are you looking to fish in paradise? Few places come as close as Aruba. This tropical island is surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean that drop to hundreds of feet just seconds from shore. Thankfully, there are plenty of Aruba deep sea fishing charters to get you offshore and on the fish.
And the fish are seriously impressive. We’re talking some of the most sought-after big game fish in the world. Barracuda, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi are available year-round, and there’s also Tuna, with Blackfin, Albacore, and Yellowfin varieties showing up. But that’s not all. Sailfish and Blue and White Marlin are the real stars of the show, with Swordfish and deepwater Groupers available the further out you go.
With the waters dropping so deep so quickly, you’ll have a variety of deep sea fishing trips to choose from in Aruba. If you’ve just got a few hours to spare, don’t worry. A half day trip will be plenty to land at least one of the prized creatures on offer. Fancy a bit longer? Choose anywhere from a 3/4 day trip to a full day or more on the water and go for a “Billfish Grand Slam.”
Aruba measures just 70 square miles, meaning you’re never far from a marina to take you out. The capital, Oranjestad, boasts the biggest number of charters, while Noord further up the coast and San Nicolas in the south also have their fair share.

Book a longer trip. 4hrs is not quite enough time for me, but we had plenty to clean in our short 4hr trip.
We got lucky and the mahi found us while bottom fishing. So happy there is not a ton of sharks eating everything we caught.

Fishing is fishing. Sometimes you get a catch, sometimes you don't. The morning sun wasn't too bad but around 10am the sun starts to really hit you. The waves weren't too crazy but hit it just right and the boat will rock. We didn't catch anything today Aug 4th but I would go again if I had the time. Never know what you can get.

Plan ahead and book ahead because it's a small fleet and I was on the mahi-mahi 42 ft Hatteras and it was a wonderful trip but I raided not for children because the seas are anywhere from 5 to 15 ft and I mean all the time.

Great trip! It was less wavy than expected with windy conditions and we stayed within sight of the shore. We did take gravol/wrist bands to mitigate sea sickness and would definitely go for another fishing excursion!

Beautiful weather. Easy trip out a mile or two into the ocean to catch some ocean floor fish. Even in the sunny afternoon we were able to catch some Coney Grouper and Triggerfish.
