Bluefin Sportfishing - Bluefin III
Bluefin Sportfishing operates out of Quepos, Costa Rica, offering four, six, and eight-hour trips fishing inshore and offshore for the area’s top table and game species. Target great inshore fish like Roosterfish and Snapper, or head further out for the chance to battle big game pelagics like Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and Yellowfin Tuna.
Whatever you do, do it in style aboard the Bluefin III, the largest and most well-equipped of the Bluefin fleet. This 33’ Boston Whaler can carry groups of up to six anglers, and cruises at a steady 25 knots thanks to her twin 315HP Cummins engines. For longer trips, she also has an enclosed toilet to keep you comfortable and focused on the fishing.
The vessel is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, outriggers, and a fighting chair, as well as a livewell filled to bursting with fresh live bait. On inshore trips, her light tackle will let you target Roosterfish and Jacks for some awesome shallow-water fun and offshore her heavy Penn International gear will let you beef up when the big game fish start biting.
Bluefin Sportfishing is strongly committed to providing great fishing while allowing future generations to enjoy the same. They work with various organizations including the Fort Lauderdale Billfish Foundation and always try to release fish that will not be eaten. This is their way of making sure their children and grandchildren still have an ocean full of awesome fish to enjoy catching.
