Captain Bob was awesome I brought my kids to Galveston and booked this fishing trip with captain Bob very knowledgeable great atmosphere kept it positive on the boat with a slow start but he knew his spots would not disappoint. This trip was perfect because it literally took us about 10 minutes to get to the first spot and start fishing. Would definitely recommend Captain Bobs services for a great fishing trip. First trip to Texas and found Captain Bob online. We were warned about possible high winds but decided to try since we only have week time left. He suggested we head out early 5am this particular day and glad we did. He mentioned best biting time if they were feeding and took us to a nice place. He taught us how to fish the main species he works with and my son picked up immediately while I took little longer. We fished from 5:30-8:15 when we hit our daily limit and ran out of bait for catch n release to end this trip.

We were able to catch triple crown although the red was too small to keep. Next time!!!

My daughter and I had an amazing day on the water and caught some really nice red fish, speckled trout, and black drum. Weather was amazing. Came home with tons of fish to cook up too! We will definitely be back for another trip with Mangus.

We met Captain Bob early in the morning and within minutes we were on the water.  The trip was fantastic. He put us on fish over a shell reef.  My brother in from Utah pretty much limited us out on trout.  I caught a couple of Redfish and one of them went into the cooler. A great day of fishing and catching!
