When visiting the quiet community of Rio Hondo, contact Capt. Eli Sandoval for the chance of some inshore fishing. You can spend some relaxing time on the waves and give yourself the opportunity to stock up your fridge with some mouth-watering fish. You’ll be under the guidance of Captain Damaso Sandoval, and he’ll do his best that you have a great time. 

The maximum number of guests per trip is two, so it’s ideal for couples or small groups of friends. You’ll be spending your time on the waves on board the Tracker bay boat model from 2019. The boat is 17’ and it is equipped with a single Mercury engine that can reach top speeds of 30 kn.

You’ll be able to go after inshore hotspots. Throughout the whole year, you can come across Speckled Trout. You might encounter Redfish and the yummy Flounder, but for them, your biggest chances are during late summer – early fall. When it comes to fishing techniques, you can go after your catch with light tackle, fly fishing, and drift fishing.

Anglers should keep in mind that they should get a Texas fishing license before they come on board. As for the necessary fishing equipment, lures, and baits, the Captain has everything prepared. Additionally, for your greater enjoyment, there’s gonna be some refreshments during a trip. If you get lucky you can keep your catch, and the crew will help you clean it. Children are allowed.
