Running angling trips out of Garibaldi Marina, Awesome Adventures invites you to check out the local fishery in style.

Capt. Kelly will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Steelheads, Lingcod, Halibut, Salmon, Seabass, and Crab, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

Your adventure begins on board a 26’ Willie Boats vessel that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with a toilet, upon request. When it comes to rods, reels, terminal tackle and safety gear, everything you need is included in the price. Please keep in mind you’ll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

I grew up on the Trask River fishing for trout as a young kid. Most high school days were spent fishing salmon whenever I could. As a local retired Marine Deputy, I kept up to date with water and fishing activities. Now I have time to pursue my passion and share with others. I enjoy teaching the art of fishing to those new to the sport. Family members and kids are encouraged to join the fun.
