King Charter’s experienced captains know how to make memories that last. Whether it’s the coastal waters up to 9 miles offshore or exploring the backwater areas of the mangroves and 10,000 islands, they take you on an excursion to seek fish that are exciting to catch and can be great for a special dinner to celebrate your success.
The crew is USCG licensed and insured, having years of experience chartering and fishing the local waters. They are also members of the Conservation Association and understand the importance of managing the fisheries to provide opportunities for future anglers.
Their vessel is a 28’ Parker that can accommodate you and your group comfortably. The Parker is a center console powered by twin Yamaha 300s with a navigation package to get you there safely and efficiently. There’s plenty of cooler storage, live bait wells, and a porta potty if you need it.
The variety of species to catch in southwest Florida is unmatched anywhere else. Close to shore you can hunt for Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Mackerel, and if you’re lucky Tarpon. Near and offshore on the wrecks and reefs, there is a variety of Grouper, Snapper, Pompano, Sharks, Jacks, and the occasional Barracuda if you’re up for the challenge.
Keeping your catch if you choose is always dependent on whether it’s in season and within limits, so please keep that in mind.
All the necessary fishing equipment and licenses are included in the cost of your trip. The charter also provides water and ice. You’ll need to pack some snacks and drinks for the day and lunch if it’s an all-day trip. They allow beer and malted beverages, but no hard liquor or drugs are allowed.
No matter what your experience level is, whether you are just starting out or a seasoned angler, King Charter’s goal is to provide memories that will last a lifetime.
