First, I never write reviews.  This time I had no choice.

Captain Ryan is outstanding!  He put us on fish all day and it wasn’t always easy.  He went the extra mile to give my 12 year old son an opportunity to catch his red drum limit. 

No one can guarantee that you will catch fish or what size fish if you do.  What they can do every time is treat people well, be kind and pay special attention to the kids aboard.  Captain Ryan hits this mark in spades!

We enjoyed Captain Ryan and his boat on an in-land half-day trip near TopSail Island. The fishing gods only smiled on us once with a 24” red fin, but we saw plenty of the big ones back in the reeds/marsh exactly where he expertly piloted his boat. He knew precisely where they were, they just didn’t feel like biting. He’s warm, clever, a former marine, and kept the boys (13, 14, and 15) entertained with interesting local facts and fauna (marine rabbits!) and also had plenty of water when we ran out, and pointed out which one of us needed a bit more sunscreen in the blazing sun. A great captain, and would certainly hire again.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Captain KK and first mate Jeremiah.  Those guys know what they are doing, they took good care of me and my 5 sons, kept us safe, and made it super fun.  It was obvious they are not just skilled, they wanted us to get the most out of the trip, and they really gave us good value.  We caught fish throughout the day, and Captain KK had a great feel for when to stay put and when (and where) to move.  I recommend them highly and would love to fish with them again.  Thank you Captain KK and first mate Jeremiah for your hard work that made for an excellent day and memorable trip for me and my sons!

My son and I went on the land based shark fishing trip. My son’s favorite animal is a shark and he was pumped to catch one. Drifter absolutely came through. They had all the best equipment and guides who not only do this as a job but also a full time hobby. When they’re that dedicated to the craft in their own lives you know they have the experience to get the job done. My son pulled in a 6 foot tiger shark and couldn’t have been more stoked. That experience made his year and it was a great memory to make with my boy. Thanks again Drifter and fish on!

My 3 son-in-laws and 2 of my grandchildren and me had the best fishing experience.  Ryan our Captain was tremendous.  I have been on several fishing charters and Ryan is definitely the best.  He was very attentive with our grandchildren to make sure they were having a great time.  He also was very knowledgable of were to catch plenty of fish to make sure we all enjoyed the trip.  All of us had a great time and already looking forward to and talking about next year.  We will definitely be calling Drifter Sportfishing and Charter anytime we want to go catch some fish.
