I took my two boys (6 and 8) on the two hour trip during Easter weekend for their first time fishing on a boat. Capt. We chose Carolina Traditions and Tyler by reviews alone and we were not disappointed. My son wanted a shark and a flounder and he reeled both up within an hour of dropping lines. Tyler was able to put us directly on the fish for the entire half day, and stayed busy keeping fresh bait on the hooks and giving guidance on flounder fishing. He was great with my eight year old son and answered all of the 100+ questions he asked for the trip. He even made a special pass by our beach house on the way back so we could see the other half of our crew that did not come fishing. Tyler is probably the most laid back Captain that I’ve fished with and we will be calling him again the next time we come down.
