Great Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Caribbean Queen Snapper, Rainbow Runner, Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Amberjack, Wahoo, Bonito, and more could be biting, depending on when you go. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own.

Your boat for the day is a 26’ Century center console with space for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials. Capt. Bud will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
