See & Ski Powerboat Rentals, one of the oldest powerboat excursions in the Virgin Islands, welcomes you to the stunning waters of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Captain Thomas, captain and owner, will be your guide along with a number of his other captains, which means you’ll tap into 30+ years of local experience.
Depending on conditions and what species are in season, you might hook into King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mutton Snapper, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Red Grouper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Blackfin Tuna, Bonito, Great Barracuda, Blacktip Shark, and whatever else takes the bait. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing and lobster diving, note that it is all breath-holding and freediving so some experience or strong swimming may be needed to participate in this activity.
Your adventure begins aboard a 26’ Prowler Cat center console with space for 6 passengers. The boat is equipped with fuel-efficient twin 115 4-stroke Yamaha outboards to get you to the best fishing spots quickly and efficiently, plenty of cooler space to store your catch, extended bimini for plenty of shade, and boarding ladders if boarding the boat from the water. These boats are very stable and family friendly, the outboard motors eliminate the diesel fume smell and the twin hull provides a lot of stability over your traditional mono hull, both of which can cause sea sickness amongst many individuals.
The trip includes rods, reels, tackle, snorkel equipment, a cooler full of beer water, soda, ice, and everything else you need to have a great day on the water. You will also use live bait depending on whether or not the captain can find some in the morning. At the end of the trip, the captain will clean up some of your catch for you to take for dinner!
Fuel and gratuity for the crew are not included in the price and will be an additional charge at the end of the charter.
