If you’re ready to discover fishing in St. Petersburg, look no further than Off The Wall Adventures and Outfitters and Reef Predator. Your guide for the day is either Captain TJ, Captain Jeff, or Captain Shay allowing you to benefit from years of local experience.

There’s no guarantee when you’re fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Hogfish, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Grunt, Almaco Jack, African Pompano Jack, Lobster, Cubera Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Amberjack, and more if conditions are right. On these trips, it’s common to jig using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard!  And, you can’t go wrong with snacks – luckily, your Captain will have some on board!

Your trip begins aboard a 36’ custom center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is onboard.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It’s recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
