These waters are known for Snappers, Groupers, Barracuda, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! For these species, you’re likely to troll.

You’ll be dropping lines from a 28’ Cigarette center console with room for 8 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods and reels are not supplied for you, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
