Your excursion begins aboard a 38’ BHM Downeast with a capacity for 11 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.

Rods, reels, and all necessary equipment are supplied for you, so no need to worry about it. All the necessary bait and lures will be provided as well. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
