Afognak Wilderness Lodge has been in the charter fishing industry for more than 50 years and is the ultimate destination for an all-inclusive Alaskan action-packed trip.

Experience an unparalleled saltwater and freshwater fishing expedition with abundant Halibut, Pacific Rockfish, Lingcod as well as Sockeye, Pink and Silver Salmon. We have two catamarans, each capable of accommodating up to 6 guests comfortably. With their double hull design, these boats are fast but stable and offer heated cabins and a bathroom, ensuring a comfortable experience as you explore the Gulf of Alaska.

The special aspect of our remote location is being situated perfectly among abundant natural resources, ensuring you will reel in catch after catch with minimal competition from other anglers and you won’t have to travel far to get to the good fishing spots! Access our lodge via a scenic 25-minute floatplane flight from the town of Kodiak to our dock. Both seasoned and new fishermen will enjoy the thrill of fishing with us and we are also family-friendly. Plus, as you wind down during dinner time, you’ll have the chance to enjoy your freshly caught fish skillfully prepared by our Chef.

Along with fishing, our wilderness abounds with diverse wildlife, such as the Kodiak brown bear, humpback whales, sea otters, puffins, sitka blacktail deer, Roosevelt elk and our resident foxes available to see right off the boat or on hikes and excursions.

Considerations:
• Floatplane bush flights to this lodge are a separate charge, but we make these arrangements for you! We book in conjunction with other guests traveling to reduce your costs.
• Contact us directly about booking with kids, as kids are 1/2 off or adult rate.
Fish processing is $1/pound (fileted, packaged, vacuum sealed, frozen, and packed in insulated boxes).
• Fishing licenses available separately through the lodge.
• After booking, we ask for a 40% booking deposit for your trip. The remaining balance is to be paid before your trip.
