Fishing on a boat like La Princesa is a very worthwhile experience. Captain Francisco is knowledgeable and is very helpful. He, as I'm sure all the captains will put you on fish and help you catch fish. These trips are child friendly, no experience friendly, and experienced fisherman friendly. Another plus is not only is it fun to catch the fish, but they taste wonderful. It's a worthwhile experience for a day.

Other than the heat, fishing is great. This was our fist time out in Puerto Penasco. We did a half day so we didn't go far out and target large sport fish. But was a great time pulling in Triggers and smaller reef fish. Definitely will be back out fishing soon. Thinking a little further out chasing bigger ones next time.

If you want small game go with this trip. They know where the fish are at but if you want big game like 50lb fish go with another charter. And mahi mahi is apparently a target fish of theirs but they told us on the trip that they don’t even fish for mahi mahi.

Things got slow about halfway through, but then Eduardo saw a bunch of birds in the distance diving the water. We moved over there and caught corvina after corvina. it was pretty amazing . When we looked over the boat we could see schools of hundreds of fish and it was super cool! Eduardo doesn't speak much english, but knows the waters very well, and is a super chill guy.

Met with the captain in the morning for a six hour trip, and ended up catching so many that we had to go back into port after 4 because we had no more space in the boat! Knew a lot about the good spots, and had a great time. I recommend this to experienced fishers, and new time fishers of all ages and genders. Definitely coming back for more!

El Jefe, the captain, the owner of the outfit and he guides the trip personally. As I fishermen I can tell when another knows what he’s doing. Jefe knew exactly where to go and what to do to catch fish. He’s great at reading water and watching the weather. He was also very personable and fun to chat with. We had to reschedule our trip due to water and weather conditions. Eduardo accommodated is the following day. He was very patient and we were on fish almost immediately. We cut a trip a little short because the water was very choppy I got seasick. I would definitely do it again.

Don’t think twice about having Captain Jefe take you out. As knowledgeable a captain as you will find. He knows the area extremely well and will keep moving until he puts you on the fish. Boat is kept very tidy and clean. Equipment is in good working order and professionally rigged.

Martín was a knowledgeable, skilled captain. We got to the first spot and it was cold. He moved the boat one time and we were on the honey hole the rest of the day. I have never had to take a break from catching fish just to get a drink of beer ha! I'll go with Margarita charter again.
