- Background
- Captain Mike spent his early childhood fishing on the local creeks and marshlands for redfish, trout, flounder, black drum and several other local species. It is safe to say that a love for angling runs in the family – he’s a 4th generation fisherman, so fishing came naturally to him! During his teenage years he worked as a mate on several boats, and after high school, he continued his education in the fishing and boating industry. He spent the next period of his life traveling and fishing the offshore canyons of the Western Atlantic, Bermuda, St. Thomas, the Bahamas, Mexico and other prime fishing locations. In 2009, he decided to settle in St. Augustine, and started running inshore trips. He welcomes every type of angler on his vessel, from novices to experts. He loves teaching kids how to fish and introducing them to the world of saltwater fishing. From novice to seasoned vet, you wont be disappointed.
- Techniques
- State of the art tackle. TFO rods, Shimano reels, suffix braid , and terminal leader. Light tackle up close and personal fishing!
