Captain Fred was great and the boat and equipment were top notch! We had live bait and went to a Red Snapper hole first and quickly caught 6 keepers. We then moved locations in search of some Amber Jack. They like squirrel fish for bait so we went and quickly caught a bunch of those. We then hauled in an Almaco Jack, 2 Amber Jack’s and 2 6-7ft barracuda! It was a working man’s kind of fishing so your arms are definitely going to get a workout, but it was so worth it! There’s even a place called Alice’s that’s right next to the marina that will cook your freshly caught fish for you.
Captain Fred is super knowledgeable and will put you on the fish. It’s just up to you to follow his advice and technique in order to land the fish. My family and I will definitely be using him again next time we’re in Panama City Beach. He gets 5 stars from me!

Capt Fred gets 5+ stars from me. We were booked for Thursday and the weather wasn’t going to be great so he messaged on Wed and asked if we wanted to move it Friday which was going to nicer. We got there and it was still rough and windy, can’t fault him for that. It was our 8 yr olds first time on charter. Capt Fred was absolutely amazing with her. Put her on the fish and had so much patience with her. She caught amberjack, squirrel fish, ruby red lips, and ramora “sucker fish” to my kid. We hooked a couple sharks, and reeled in a barracuda. Then at the end he took her see the dolphins playing. It was such a great first fishing trip for our girl, and it’s all thanks to Capt Fred!

We really enjoyed our day. Weather wasn’t cooperating as much as we hoped but we still had a blast and enjoyed our day on the water! Definitely recommend! He also recommended another Captain to us for our next day of inland fishing (Captain Greg) and that was a huge success too!
