- Captain John Layne was born and raised fishing in the bays and flats of the Apalachicola Bay. He's an avid angler and passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with his guests. - We mostly use spinning reels, with round reels offshore as well. We mostly bottom fish, with the exception of the crew size and experience we also use artificial lures depending on the time of year & weather conditions.
