Great day with a couple good ole boys! I’m a New England tuna captain and they couldn’t have done a better job with me and my family!

Great experience with Captain Bob and his First Mate Dave.  Bob called me the day before and asked if I wanted to change from a 2:00 start time to 4:00 as the fishing would likely be better.  He called me the day of the trip to inform me the wind would prevent us from going out on the lake but we could fish in the bay.  He gave me the option to cancel but I choose to go.  Ultimately we fished about half in the bay and half on the lake.  Fishing wasn’t the greatest (1 walleye, 3 white bass, and 2 drum) but we had a great time. My son had a blast helping Dave manage the rods.  I would highly recommend Captain Bob and we plan on going again soon.

We had an amazing trip with Captain Bob.  He was great with the kids and was very accommodating.  He lets you be as involved as you like.  He showed me how to set up the outriggers and I got to help with putting the fishing lines out as the kids reeled in the fish (of course I caught my fair share too).  We were catching fish about ten minutes after coming aboard and that didn’t let up.  We caught limit and most of the walleye were 20” plus.  He can also help you find lodging and knows all the best spots to eat.  I highly recommend Wild Irish Rose Charters.

Amazing day on the water. Captain Bob and First Mate Dave were very knowledgeable and had us on the fish the whole time. We caught just 1 shy of the limit for us! I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to fish on Lake Erie!

Captain Bob was extremely knowledgeable and explained what we needed to do to be successful. My husband is hands on and learned to set up the poles to catch fish. We caught our limit and had a blast
