You poor folks. You should have let us know how important some of theses details were when we were getting to know each other at the beginning of the trip.. I never would have let you book the afternoon slot 1p-5p.because every day some folks on the dock charter fishing boats for durations of 10&12 hours and return at the same time as a short afternoon trip such as our 4 hour trip. I’m sorry I wasn’t the entertainment you were expecting. Yet , I feel as if I was a little short handed in the judgement process of my character. As I departed our briefing, my words to y’all were … “ I’m just a few steps up the ladder if anyone feels like coming up for a different view or to just check me out.. feel free to. .. so at that point, I went to drive the boat. Not sure what I was thinking. there! I’m sorry yall didn’t have a good time!  And I’m sorry we keep all the stuff on the boat for fishing Sometimes, we get some of that stuff out and the boat may appear a bit cluttered. Sorry you experienced that as well. I thought my mate did a wonderful job of keeping y’all safe and in fishing condition every minute of our trip, including the extra half hour I gave y’all to accomplish one of our goals we talked about in the beginning… a fish dinner. Many factors affect outcomes of any type of trip. The ones controllable, are rarely the cause of “bad trips” So please speak up and let your guides know the “important things”  so they can boost the enjoyment of your trip.
