I damaged my truck on way to fishing. Captain Andrew drove to his home to get tools and kept assuring us it was not a big deal. My husband and I stayed at shore to work on it and my daughter and her BF went fishing. The store we needed was not open for another hour and Captain Andrew offered to fish for an hour and bring us back so we didn’t miss entire trip. Very positive attitude, cleaned the fish very quickly, provided us with ice for the trip home. He also educated us on the type of fish and made sure to fish different locations to try and catch as many as possible. Seriously could not have asked for a better Captain! We will definitely come back again. This was a trip for my daughter to celebrate graduation and her one wish was to fish and that she did! Thank you again Captain Andrew for truly going above and beyond helping restore my faith that good humans do still exist!

Had a great afternoon with Captain Andrew!  Our trip was in February so we didn’t catch a lot of fish, 6 with one keeper.  Captain Andrew was extremely polite, very entertaining, funny, and he kept us moving in our search for fish.  The boat was modern, clean, and plenty big enough for 4 adults.  We recommend Blackdot Charter to anyone looking for an enjoyable fishing trip!

We started our day strong, catching a lot of fish, then the wind came and it slowed down some.  But, that didn’t stop our Captain Andrew from trying to find more.  He was persistent, knowledgeable about where to go, and how to fish each area.  It was fun to watch how accommodating he was to make sure everyone was having fun!
