Although the fishing bite was admittedly slow, we really enjoyed our time with Jim. He worked his tail off to put us on the best spots and with the appropriate tackle for each spot. We caught numerous species, and learned some new techniques that we can take back to enhance our freshwater fishing back home. We’ll done!

We picked one of the colder mornings of the year to head out and fish. The fish were slow to bite but we still had a good time.  Very well cared for equipment and boat was impeccable. Would highly recommend!

A great afternoon of fishing. We were thrilled with the fishing action and Captain Jim’s handcrafted rods. He put us on fish and gave clear instructions on getting them to the boat. It was nice to catch release and even enjoy tasty fish. He is knowledgeable and relaxed in the boat. The scenery is beautiful and Jim did a great job of naking the afternoon memorable.

Jim is a professional.  Tough time of year, slow bite for all of the boats but Jim would not stop until we got a nice catch.  He went above and beyond. Absolutely will be calling Jim again.

Captain Jim was amazing! He made the whole trip effortless and stressless! He did all the casting for me so that was amazing because I never would have caught anything with my poor casting. He took us to amazing spots and always kept us on the fish. Backwater fishing is the best for anyone trying to get a taste of the Florida fish!
