Spring Break 2021 was a great one! The weather limited our captains getting on the water but Lake Lewisville showed us how good it can actually be. Pablo brought his son Pablo Jr and daughter Andrea out to get in on the catching. Pablo recently emigrated to Texas from Puerto Rico ??. They had never fished in Texas until today. This was the first fish for Andrea and she did awesome! One of the blessings of being a guide is watching someone catch their first fish, most fish or biggest fish and in some cases all three happen on the same trip! RSR Lures jigging spoons with their stinger hook accounted for most of the White Bass that were caught. Even so, a good number were also caught on RSR's Stripaholic jig head matched with a Berkeley Power Bait minnow. The captains also put their Bobo's Thumper to work drawing and holding fish under their boats. The White Bass are holding close to drop offs in about 24 feet of water.
