We had a blast on our first fishing trip with Captain Shane and Amos, his very sweet dog and lead dolphin spotter. We caught 12 different species of fish that included grouper, flounder, and two varieties of puffer fish. We even made a stop at Shane’s crab pots while we were moving locations and saw huge stone crabs. Even as locals, we learned a lot about the area and local ecosystem. He had all of the right bait and rods with him on the boat to make our fishing experience successful. The boat was clean and comfortable. The trip was fun, educational, and we will absolutely do it again. Thanks Captain Shane!

Was an excellent, well rounded, experience! Captain has a fantastic knowledge of the local ecology. He turned a cold windy day on the water into a day filled with fun facts, wildlife interactions, and of course great fishing. Make sure you give Amos (his awesome dolphin watching dog) the last bite of your sandwich and be sure to book. Highly recommend!

One of the best family vacation excursions ever! Shane was a world class host and we caught more fish than we could count (thinking 50 fish at least)! We also learned about the natural marsh habitat, had a chance to watch dolphins and prepared an amazing meal afterward. We went on a half day morning trip with Shane out of Isle of Palm marina and it was great, we caught are limit of Red Drum from 15-23. We also caught 3 red drum over the maximum size which were 28 inches and 2 30 inch drum, along with many that we released back due to us reaching our limit. We also caught an 6-7 foot black tip shark which captain Shane said was about 200 pounds.
Shane couldn’t have done any better today if we had asked him to do it before we left the dock.
