Paulo and his crew were great. We were a boat full of novices and they had us landing fish within 15 minutes of starting to fish. We started with a couple mahi mahi and a wahoo.  From there the crew re-rigged everything as we moved out to try for some marlin. They got us hooked up on two marlins!!  On the way back into port Poncho the seal jumped on the afterdeck and made puppy dog eyes until he got some leftover bait fish. Fun was had by all!

I’ve fished Cabo San Lucas over 5 times, Zihuatanejo and San Jose Las Cabos, along with other waters in Mexico over the past few years, but I have never had a perfect fishing experience…until the week of Halloween 23”, when I booked Captain Paulo Torres and his talented crew.
As can happen, a slow start, on my part, as we were a bit late to meet up with the Captain and head out…but the “Pacific Times”, made short to take lead into getting every fishing rod in the water. We had 6 to 8 lures in the water at most times. And fresh live bate, ready to be pitched to awaiting prey!
“Eight before Eight”... we started catching Mahi in singles, double, and triples!!! We were catching our share of big bull Mahi while getting some Gopro footage of Mahi jumping and doing some crazy antics and had eight in the bag before Eight am!!!
We fished another 45 min. to an hour, and everyone limited out with Mahi Mahi!!!
Without a word between Captain and crew had changed tactics, reeled in all rods and had Marlin rigs in the water within minutes. We had a sandwich and trolled for about an hour, when the Captain spun the Pacific Time around and had a Stripped Marlin spotted.  The crew did everything correctly, they pulled the teasers,  reeled in all the lures and pitched the live bait to the Marlin was on and we got a nice Gopro footage. It took me a bit to get him in. It was a nice 120 to 140lb Stripped Marlin!!!
We trolled for a while longer as the rest of the fleet was asking what we were doing right and catching, catching…
Again, without any fanfare, the Captain and crew all changed the rods to bottom fishing. We spent over an hour pulling up Tile fish, groupers and a bunch more that I know not.
So to wrap this up… Captain Paulo and his crew, never waisted one moment of time without “CATCHING” every species he set out to catch!!!
It was definitely the highlight of both trips out on the water that we booked on this site. We booked a super ponga out of San Jose Los Cabos on the 2nd of November and caught over 50 lbs of processed Yellowfin tuna and another 60lbs of Mahi Mahi and Marlin for the smoker from the Pacific Time, made us buy 3 large coolers to transport all of the beautiful fish home to Utah and California.
The last thing to say about Captain Paulo, is he and his crew gave us the closes thing to a perfect day on the water!!!

Paulo and his team were amazing! I know nothing about fishing and planned this as a surprise for my boyfriend. We had a blast, all got to catch tons of fish, and even got to eat it afterwards at a restaurant he recommended! Everything was done for us the boat and he even helped us get our fishing license the morning of. We literally didn’t have to do anything! Again, everything was amazing and everyone was so so nice! Ramon even let me feed the seal who popped his head up when we were almost back. I think that was my favorite part! I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you for an amazing trip and memories!

Man what a trip! There wasn’t a dull moment in the 8 hours on the water. I have been with several other guide services in Cabo searching for the best and we finally found it! Within five minutes of trolling we had our first double up, a nice mahi-mahi and Bonita. We then proceeded to catch at least 15 more mahi by 9:30 with multiple very nice fish. After that, we told the captain we would like to switch up to marlin fishing. We set out some larger lures and bridled baits and BAM wahoo on! Sadly he spit the hook. In no time at all we had a billfish hit the bait but he had also missed the hook. To end the trip we had the mahi of a lifetime on easily in the 5ft range. After an intense battle and several missed gaff shots the fish wore through the line… heartbreak throughout the boat. The boat was nice and had all the facilities and amenities you would want it to have. Capt Paulo is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and very passionate about what he does. Thanks for having us out everyone in our group had a awesome time!

We booked this on the fact that there were many reviews of satisfied anglers. There was a lengthy review that very accurately depicted the flow of the trip. Paulo does greet you and gives you a debrief but does accompany you on the trip. His son Jesus tho is more than an amazing 1st mate tho and has fishing in his blood. They know how to get on fish. We caught Bonitos, Jack, Yellowfin Tuna, a Blue Marlin, and a double header of Striped Marlin! Angling Heaven! On arrival vack at the dock, Paulo was kind enough to call and ask us about our experience and to please leave a review as he understands the importance of customer service.
