Boat was great, Captain Eric and Jiggy are a dynamo duo… we caught snapper, had a visit by a whale shark who, apparently liked us very well because she swam beside our boat for 30 min… then off to catch lobster… fresh catch barbecue lunch..: ended with sunset ride home. It was our best day ever!!

Went out with Uprising for a 8 hour trip with a beach bbq. From the moment we were going to the end was non stop fun!! Caught snapper and amber back fish and fresh conch. Erik and Jiggy prepares everything for you! Fresh conch ceviche on the boat! Snorkel while they get the rest of the fish prepared and to the island to get ready to eat! There is a smoke house where they cook everything in grape wood and dried coconut shells. The smell is amazing but the fresh fish tacos were the shit!!! Erik and Jiggy both helped everybody on the boat get bait and lines in the water. We fished from 500’ to 200’ of waters. Was a beautiful day to fish and enjoy the great outdoors!! If your looking fir a good time get ahold of these guys at Uprising!!!

Having booked Eric 1 time in the past, we were fortunate to be able to book him for all 4 days on our trip at the end of October, 2018.  He and his first mate, Jiggy, are the best fishing, snorkeling & boat experience we have ever had in our 8 trips to AC.  They know how to put you on the fish, lead you on incredible snorkeling tours, and just provide a great boating experience!  We were even able to go outside the reef one day due to calm waters and take advantage of deep fishing with Eric’s electric reel.  Other days we hit areas full of snapper!  In addition, we got to experience Eric’s larger and nicer boat this trip - it was smooth, fast, comfortable,... and worth the upgrade in price.  If you haven’t ever booked the all day beach barbeque, I highly recommend it.  We book it every time in AC.  Again, Eric and Jiggy rank at the top of our list for taking a boat out in AC and will remain our 1st choice there!

We booked a half day reef fishing trip with Uprising at the recommendation of Laurie from the taco girl blog. Our trip was excellent from beginning to end!  Eric and Jiggy were knowledgeable about great fishing locations and awesome to hang out with. We caught what seemed like 50lbs of various types of snapper during our trip and took a good portion of our fresh catch to sandy toes (at Eric’s recommendation) where they cooked it up 3 ways for free (we purchased drinks and sides and had one of the best meals of our entire trip!!).  When booking the trip I expected to catch more variety of fish, but it’s important to remember you can’t control the ocean or what is biting that day!!  Despite us only catching snapper during our experience with Eric and Jiggy was 5 stars all the way!
