First, let me start by saying that I booked a different type boat than what I had expected. I thought I had booked a sport fishing boat and was disappointed to see the boat we walked up to. We booked 6 hours for 6 people; There was a bench seat at the back that 3 of us squeezed on to for the ride out and they pulled a beanbag chair out for our 4th. If our other two came out, there would not have been room.
The fishing was great fun and they took us out. We caught quite a few fish and even a shark or two. :/ It was a great day. The provided a portable potty for the women on board and we had to stop the boat to put up a drape for some privacy, which worked out fine.
When we came in and were cleaning the fish, the crew divided to clean our catches. One of the crew had 2 of our fish stolen by an aggressive pelican and the captain of the boat, dropped the bag of fish into the ocean tossing a few filets.
They were great and nice guys and I would book them again, I think - if I couldn’t book a sport fishing boat.

Decided to take a last minute charter with my fiancé to end our weekend trip and we made no mistake booking Salty Blue Charters. The experience for a first time charter was phenomenal. Captain Brian was nice and easy to get along with. Knowledgeable on tips to catch fish and really goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. Recommend 10/10.
This was an awesome trip captain and crew was 100 percent awesome fishing was awesome too he knew right where to go to catch fish cant wait to come back and go fishing with them again.
Capt and mate was great with the kids. Taught them how the boat works and how to read the sonar screen to find fish. Got on fish pretty fast. Would go out with them again.
It was a great day! Even with it being a little rough, Captain Brian put us on the meat and we came home with three beautiful King Mackerel!
His Mate Jacob filleted them and cut them into steaks and we now have a freezer full of delicious fish.
